Colouring the Senses

Listen, smell, touch and paint. A 60-minute art workshop in English.

Children listen to music, smell scents and feel textures, then turn what they sense into colour and shape. The names of the tools, the words for colours and shapes – all in English. Wanting to say something in English is what brings the words out.

The hour · 60 min

  1. Welcome & Today’s wordsHello, and the English words we will use today, including the names of the tools.
  2. Listening GameColour, shape, animal, weather, place. A warm-up answering single English words.
